With her loving family by her side, Shirley passed away peacefully on Friday June 11, 2021. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth (1984) her parents Myron and Nellie.
Cherished mother to her three children Jody, stepdaughters Debbie Lafleur (David) and Christine Dykstra (Ray). Loving grandmother to Owen, Logan, Marc, Eric, Elizabeth, Keiley, Kyle and Brianna.
She is loved dearly by her siblings Sheila Barrow, Doug Gates, Jacqueline Metcalf (Wayne), Laura Ermanson (Ivar), Lynn Basmajian (Haig) and Margaret Sartor (Gary). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a kind, compassionate and gentle soul. Heavan has gained another angel. She will be dearly missed. The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the doctors and nurses on 4A for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to Hospice Niagara in Memory of Shirley.
