McIntosh: Shirley “Tudy”
August 12 1929 – September 4 2021
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Niagara on September 4, 2021 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband, Bruce. She is survived by her daughter Laura (Ian) Macpherson and son Shane (Natalie) McIntosh. Also survived by grandchildren Michael (Robin) Macpherson, Megan Macpherson, Kalyna McIntosh, Kyle McIntosh and Liliana McIntosh. Tudy was a member of the first women’s eight rowing team in Port Dalhousie. She was an ardent animal lover (especially dogs!) and an environmentalist before it was fashionable. She took great pleasure in feeding the birds, squirrels and raccoons that frequented her back yard. Many thanks to her kind neighbours who assisted her selflessly over the years. Also, sending thanks to her kind and caring home support workers, and the compassionate Hospice Niagara staff and volunteers.. There will be no services at this time. If desired donations to Hospice Niagara or the Owl Foundation in Vineland Station would be appreciated
