Sandra Lillian Evelyn Edwards passed peacefully in her sleep from heart complications on December 10th, 2021 at age 57. Sandra was born in Burlington, Ontario on April 17th, 1964 to Shirley and Stan Edwards. She lived a fulfilling life as a mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend. She loved people and will best be remembered for her generous spirit and love for Jesus. Sandra made both of her daughters so proud by going back to college in her early 50’s to become an educational assistant; a role she absolutely adored. Sandra is survived by her two daughters, Rachael Sourwine and her husband Chuck; and Rebecca Gedeon and her husband Tyler; her sister, Cathy Edwards; her brother, Stan Edwards and his wife Suzette; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents; sister, Connie; brother, Jeff; eldest daughter, Stephanie; nephew, Peter James (PJ) and wonderful pup Nikita. Sandra made it through all of her trials here on earth, and is now going home to be with her firstborn daughter and the Lord she loves so much. She will be sorely missed by many dear friends and loved ones. A memorial service will be held at Bethany Community Church on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 between 2-4 pm. Proof of vaccination will be required. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Sandra's honour. .
