It is with great sadness that
Martin Krawec passed away
peacefully at Henley House on
Friday, May 7, 2021 at 93
years of age. He was
predeceased by his wife
Helen (Golenia), brothers
Steve, Pete, Marvin, Nick,
John, Harry and sisters
Victoria, Mary, Ann and Helen.
He is survived by son Terry
(Bonnie), granddaughter
Andrea, nephews Jim (Karen)
and Mike Krawec, brothers
Sam (Jean), Alex (Shirley), and
sister Olga. Martin worked at
General Motors and was a
member of Unifor Local 199,
retiring after 38 years. Not
one able to sit around he
enjoyed running the dart
league and bartending at the
Unifor Retirees Centre. He
enjoyed bowling, the casino
and his favorite pastime was
horse racing. His family is
deeply appreciative of the
staff and nursing team at
Henley House for their care.
Cremation has taken place,
and a private family service
was held at Victoria Lawn
Cemetery. If desired,
donations may be made to the
charity of choice.
