Obituary for Marjorie Alberta Dimitroff (Robins)

Marjorie Alberta Dimitroff (nee Robins)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Marjorie Alberta Dimitroff (nee Robins) on August 2, 2022 at Tabor Manor LTC in her 99th year.

Loving mother of Terry (Geraldean ‘Gerry’), Brian (Shirley) and David (Dorothy). Cherished grandmother of Bill (Ingrid), Dan (Yvonne), Tara (Colin), Dana (Sean), Jennifer (Greg) and Stephanie (Ryan). Proud great grandmother of eleven with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ted (March 2020) after 76 years of marriage.

Marge and Ted raised their three sons in Queenston and spent their summers at the cottage on Haliburton Lake.

As a wife, a mother, a mother in-law, grandmother and great grandmother, she was extraordinary and passed along so much of her goodness. Hand-knitting beautiful designer sweaters, making homemade pies and cookies and hosting family dinners were just some of her special talents. She even gained a reputation for her quick wit and her amusing stories.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Greater Niagara General Hospital as medical secretary for many years.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Tabor Manor for her care and comfort during her stay.

She has left us but warm memories of her will live on.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
