It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Margaret Grady, at Royal Rose Place in Welland Ontario at the age of 80. Predeceased by her husband Mike Grady and sister Brenda Walmsley. Loving mom to Lisa Grady(Tamara) from Grand Bend, Tracey Grady (George) from St. Catharines and grandmother to Kyle Swartz and Mackenzie Froese both from Welland. Great grandmother to Jordyn, Griffyn and Lincoln. She is also survived by her sister Susan Hoath(Greg) and by her many nieces and nephews including Joanne, Scott, Jay, Justin, and Amanda, all from Ontario and many others from the UK.
Mom loved her family very much and was an animal lover who rescued many lost souls over her lifetime. She always defended the underdog and people less fortunate and will be remembered by family and friends as always smiling and entertaining us with funny stories from years ago. She was loved by all who knew her and we will cherish her memory and carry her in our hearts forever.
Love you forever mom, you are now free from the Alzheimer’s and Dementia disease.
Special thanks to the folks at Royal Rose Place for taking such good care of mom while she was there.
A celebration of life will be held in Grand Bend at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Association of Canada or to your local Humane Society would be much appreciated by the family.
