Obituary for Lois Ruth Munro (Stewart)
Munro, Lois - October 29, 1946-July 22, 2021
It is with heavy hearts and much sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Gran, Nana, Sister, Auntie and Best Friend. With both her children by her side, she went peacefully into the night on July 22, 2021.. Predeceased by her parents Dorothy (nee Timm- 2011) and Lester Stewart (1979), her husband Donald (2017), and her sister Marva Carswell (1995). Loving and devoted mother of Mark Brunt (Melissa) and Donna Munro (Nuno), and extra special Gran to Jordynn Brunt!
Survived by her two sisters, Carol Murray and Sharon Matthews. Also survived by many nieces & nephews, cousins & friends. Very special Aunt and friend to Laurie & Rob Roeterink and extra special "Nana" to Emily!
Lois loved her family the most, always putting them ahead of everything else. She also loved her card parties, bingo & the odd trip to a Casino! Her smiling eyes and beautiful smile would light up every room she entered! She will be sorely missed by everyone that was fortunate enough to know her!
Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Liver Foundation of Ontario in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date at Clear Lake...one of her most favourite places!
