Obituary for Lillian Joyce Sears
February 15, 1939 - June 17, 2021
Joyce passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Shaver. Left to mourn is her loving husband Clinton of 66 1/2 years and her children Lenora Monteith (David), Michelle Chapman (Dave), Tim Sears (Vikki) and Clint Sears (Lynn). She was an amazing Grandma to Melissa (Jason), Kristen (Brent), Brandon, Elyssia (Trevor), Tanya (Andrew), Elizabeth, Joshua, Kadesh and Caleb (deceased), and was a Great-Grandma to 10. Joyce was a loving sister to June Smith (Nova Scotia) and Clifford Kendrick (deceased,Nova Scotia).
Mom was a strong woman who knew what she wanted for her family and remained strong during her last days by making certain that Dad was going to be taken well care of. Upon her learning of Dad’s new home, she stated, ”My work is done”.

As per Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. She will be laid to rest in Churchover, Nova Scotia at a later date.
Donations to Heart & Stroke or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
