Kemp: Lillian Marie (nee Bouchard)
Lillian Marie Gisele Germaine Kemp, R.N., passed away peacefully in her sleep at Upper Canada Lodge in NOTL on Sunday May 22, 2022 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Willi Z. Kemp who passed August 2, 2014.
Born in Sainte-Luce Quebec, she moved to St. Catharines after graduating in her studies at Universite Laval. She began her career in nursing at The Hotel Dieu Hospital in 1959.
Throughout her career she was regarded as dedicated and conscientious in serving all her patients with dignity, respect and compassion. She is survived by her sister Solange Robert and sister-in-law Doris Bouchard. Her brothers Jean (Patricia), Bert (Linda), Paul and her sister Pierrette (George) all preceded her in death. She will always be remembered as a loving mother to Andre and his wife Maria and loving grandmother to Eric, Adam, and Ryan.
Thank you to all the staff at Upper Canada Lodge for taking such good care of my mom and all staff of the Virgil McNab resident care wing for giving her to the best care for more than 11 years.
A celebration of life sharing memories over refreshments and snacks will held in honour of
Lillian on June 12 from 2-4 pm at 9245 Shoveller Drive,
Niagara Falls.
