Obituary for Lawrence Walter McGinnis
MCGINNIS: LAWRENCE WALTER
March 18, 1937 -September 12, 2022
It is with broken hearts we announce Larry’s passing at Niagara General Hospital at the age of 85. He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Bonnie, and his children, Terri (Brian), Jim (Dawn), Keith (Holly), Kevin, predeceased by his son John and his sister Lorine (Brian). Survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings David (Margaret), Charleen as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Larry’s favorite saying was “just another speed bump” when referring to the many health issues he endured for many years. This one was too much for him to handle.
Special thanks to Larry’s specialists, and all the support received from our very special friends.
As per Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to PASSFIELD MORTUARY SERVICES INC (905) 682 0474. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
