Obituary for June Irene Elliott (Trapp)
On February 11, 2022 June Irene Elliott in her 96th year passed away peacefully at Hospice Niagara surrounded by her family. June is now reunited with her loving husband of 58 years and favourite dance partner Bruce (2004), her many 4-legged family members but especially her favourite “child” Shadow. Predeceased by her parents John “Jack” and Irene Trapp, her 3 brothers Bill, Jack, Ken and her beloved Aunt “Poppy” Jane Trapp. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her 6 children; Carol (Bill) Curnock, Linda
(Ted; Predeceased) Epp, Debbie (David) Gillard, David Elliott, Kevin (Susanne) Elliott and Kim (Glenn) Breadman. Her many grandchildren: Tracy, Kent, Nancy, Bonnie, Hilary, Chadwick, Michael, Kirinjit, Kate, Matt, Kenneth, Brianna, Devon and her 12 Great Grandchildren.
June will forever be remembered for her quick wit, her infectious smile and her kind compassionate spirit, her love of animals and most importantly her love for her family.
As per June’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to PASSFIELD MORTUARY SERVICES INC. (905)682-0474. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. A special thank you to the many doctors, nurses, and PSW’s who provided care for mom, especially those at Hospice Niagara for their truly compassionate care and to Dr. Kerley for his excellent ongoing care throughout the years. We cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for our dear Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Niagara, The Stabler Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
