Obituary for Isabella Kirkwood Downer (Smith)
DOWNER, ISABELLA KIRKWOOD
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones June 21, 2022 at the age of 95. Isabel was born in Kirkintilloch, Scotland and moved to Canada as a war bride where she raised her family of eight children. Isabel has enjoyed many activities in her life including bowling and darts. Never was she more happy than when surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children Roy (Natalie), Joyce, Ian, Tracey (Bob), Kim (Ed), Bob (Jane) and son-in-law Harry (Nadia). She is predeceased by her husband Bob, daughters Marilyn and Darlene, and sisters Jessie and Nancy. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers a donation to Lincoln County Humane Society or Niagara Action for Animals would be greatly appreciated. Mom loved the four legged creatures almost as much as she loved her family.
A celebration of her life will be determined at a later date.
