He was Uncle Gary to a great many nieces and nephews.
Gary (Train) will be remembered for always being on the baseball field, playing slo-pitch for the TP Chiefs. A Slo-pitch team, which was made up of employees of Thompson Products, where Gary had worked since 1968, after leaving Kimberly Clark paper mill where he worked since 1963. Gary excelled at his job at Thompson Products, from starting on the machines on the floor to retiring from TRW in 2003 as an area manager.
Husband, dad, and papa will be forever remembered for creating loads of wonderful memories for his family, from fishing, cottage trips and camping to just hanging out and telling stories of the past and talking about history.
Our family would like to extend our deepest and heartfelt gratitude to all the PSW’s, Nurses, Doctors, and Residents, who over the years came to know, care for, and befriend Gary. He always enjoyed talking to people and helping anyone in any way he could. Gary was lovingly referred to as the Mayor of Linhaven. He had cultivated so many friendships which were evident to us in their expression of sympathy in his passing. Thank you
