Nash, Donald Bruce

Don “Nipper” Nash, born on July 5, 1935, passed away on November 15, 2023. He was a loving husband to Barbara for 69 years and a devoted father to Wendy, Dawn, Tracey (Doug), and David. He was also a proud grandfather to Krysten (Mark ), Ryan, Caitlin, and Tatum, and great-grandfather to Ethan and Cohen. He is survived by his sisters June, Gail, and Linda.
Don retired from General Motors after a 35-year career as a supervisor. He was also a co-founder of the St. Catharines Minor Hockey School and played for the St. Catharines Jr. A Tee Pees from 1952 to 1954. He was one of the original fans of the Toronto Blue Jays and the patriarch of the Nash family Good Friday Hike at Rockway gorge for 65 years.
Don will be remembered for his love of hockey, his passion for the Toronto Blue Jays, and his unwavering commitment to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Passfield Mortuary Servies Inc. St. Catharines. A celebration of life is upcoming spring 2024
