Obituary for David Robert Beckman
BECKMAN: David Robert
March 18, 1967- January 1, 2023
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Robert Beckman on January 1, 2023 in his 56th year. Partner to Amanda Pospiech, son of Allan & Evelyn Beckman, Father to Jesy Beckman and stepfather to Jeremy Hawley & Britanie Hennessy. Brother to Michael (Cheri) Beckman & Tammy (John) Rayner. Uncle to Kyler, Ethan, Makenna and Hudson. Loving nephew to Herb (Suzie) Beckman and Joan (Matt) Krey. Predeceased by his grandparents Fred and Philipine Beckman also by his Aunt Tillie and Uncle Gus.
David had a love of fastball and excelled at it. He won many trophies, awards and travelled to the Canadian Midget Championship. He loved his family, fishing and gardening. He also had a love of all animals in particular his dogs Junior and Ed.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private grave side service will take place with family. All are welcome to a celebration of life which will be held on Thursday January 5, 2023 from 2: 00p.m- 5: 00p.m at the Lazy Lizard Restaurant located at 396 Ontario Street, St. Catharines. A special thank you to the staff at Hospice Niagara for their continuous care and support making David’s final days as comfortable as possible.
